SHAME!

Shame on Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz of Lincoln, Nebraska for excommunicating the members of the loyal Catholic Vatican II-oriented organization Call to Action (CTA)!

Further shame on Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, the Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops of the Vatican for confirming his excommunication!

CTA is a responsible group of Catholics dedicated to bringing back the reform and renewal of the Second Vatican Council (1962-65) which took major steps to drag the Catholic Church out of the Middle Ages and into the Modern World. CTA members are not at all disloyal Catholics, but are mature Catholics who are responsibly trying to follow in the footsteps of Jesus--and appear now to be suffering a similar fate spiritually at the hands of the Roman appointed "High Priests."

The Association for the Rights of Catholics in the Church (ARCC) calls upon Pope Benedict XVI to reverse this scandalous excommunication and severely reprimand both Bishop Bruskewitz and Cardinal Re.
